We are pleased to share that we have enabled a new app called GoGuardian Parent. GoGuardian Parent is a mobile app to help keep you aware of your children's activity on school-issued devices and provide you with additional controls during out-of-school hours. GoGuardian Parent is a companion to the classroom management and internet filtering tools that your child's school uses for devices issued to students.
Emergency Closing/Delayed Opening of School
Arrangements have been made to notify the general public whenever schools are to be closed or if there is to be a delayed opening. Parents of students will receive a message from ParentSquare. Please ensure that your contact information is up-to-date by contacting your child's main office. Closings and delayed openings will also be posted to the district website. Announcements will also be posted to the district's Facebook page @FarmingdaleSchoolDistrict.
The UPK program will follow the District's delayed start schedule.
