Once A Daler, Always A Daler

Celebrating America Through Art

Posted Date: 06/10/26 (11:24 AM)

A diverse group of children pose in front of a colorful mural featuring an eagle.

A magnificent bald eagle now stands proud on the walls of Woodward Parkway Elementary School, its wings symbolizing the enduring spirit of freedom. Ten dedicated fifth graders in Mrs. Jordan-Maisano’s Mural Club chose to spend their lunch periods collaborating on a large-scale painting. Their artwork honors the historic 250th anniversary of America. By focusing their artistic talents on this national symbol, the students explored themes of liberty, unity, and history. This creative journey allowed these young artists to leave a permanent, meaningful mark on their school environment while developing advanced artistic skills and a deep sense of shared pride.
This beautiful tribute will inspire the entire school community to soar to new heights for generations to come.💚 #DalerPride
